Philosophy Club

This is is the official page for the Philosophy Club. The philosophy club is an informal gathering of interested students and faculty who want to talk in greater depth about issues in philosophy. For each meeting there will be a reading (or film) and we will discuss that reading during the meeting. All students are welcome to attend whether you have taken a philosophy class or not. The first rule of philosophy club is talk about philosophy club. The second rule of philosophy club is talk about philosophy club. Our third meeting for the Spring 2011 Semester will be on Thursday, April 7 at 6:45 PM at Yogurt World in Mira Mesa. The address is 8995 Mira Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92126. We will be discussing the film Gattaca (1997, dir. Andrew Niccol). Everyone is welcome! Our second meeting for the Spring 2011 Semester will be on Thursday, March 10 at 6:45 PM at Yogurt World in Mira Mesa. The address is 8995 Mira Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92126. We will be discussing the film Inception (2010, dir. Christopher Nolan). Everyone is welcome! Our first meeting for the Spring 2011 Semester will be on Thursday, February 17 at 6:45 PM at Yogurt World in Mira Mesa. The address is 8995 Mira Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA 92126.
