Phil 100 S15: Extra Credit

Extra Credit. In "On Bullshit" Frankfurt argues that bullshit is worse than a lie. In addition, on page 50 of our text, he argues that most people find lies worse than bullshit. Write a one-two page paper in which you answer the following questions:
  1. Do you think bullshit is worse than a lie? Why or why not?
  2. Why do you think people are more offended when they are lied to vs. when they are bullshitted?
Your answer should be typed, double-spaced in a 10-12 point legible font. It is due in class on Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

Extra Credit 1 (Due March 4): Attend the National Adjunct Action Day rally on February 25 at noon outside the LRC. Then write a 1-2 page summary of the event. Be sure to discuss and evaluate any arguments you heard made during the rally. Your summary must be typed, double-spaced in 10-12 point legible font, and is due in class on Wednesday, March 4.
