Extra Credit: (Due before the last day of class): Find examples any aspect of the class we have discussed (Deceptive features of language, Fallacies, Issues with perception, etc.). These should be videos or visuals (pictures or charts) that illustrate one or more of the topics we have discussed in class. These should be as recent as possible (you should be able to find many examples from the last election cycle). You should submit them over email with links and brief explanations of the fallacies you identified. Do not use videos which contain discussions of fallacies, I want real-world examples. These will be worth 5 quiz points each with a maximum of 20 points. |
