This is a special opportunity for those who did poorly on the first exam. If you scored lower than a 50, this will add 10 points to your score, or bring your score up to 50, whichever is greater. If you scored between 50 and 70, this will bring your exam grade up to a 70. Your assignment is to write a 2-3 page paper answering the following questions:
In answering these questions, try to be as detailed and specific as possible. Don't say, "I should have studied more," Say why you didn't study and explain what you will do to make sure you study and study more effectively next time. Your essay should be typed, double-spaced in a 10-12 point legible font. The essays are due in-class on Wednesday, October 9. Be sure to turn in your original exam with your essay. |
