Extra Credit (Due 12/4): Read the chapter on The Primal Religions in Huston Smith’s The World’s Religions (pp.365-382). Then, visit the Heritage of the Americas Museum on campus. Reflect on how the themes of the chapter in the book are reflected in the exhibits and how the artifacts illustrate the mindset of The Primal Religions. Write a 1-2 page essay explaining how some of the themes mentioned by the book are reflected in the exhibits or how the artifact(s) illustrates these themes. Be specific and thorough!
Your answer should be typed, double-spaced in 10-12 point legible font. It is due in class on December 4.
Entry to the museum is free with a valid Cuyamaca-Grossmont student ID. The hours of operation are as follows:
